PHSCON

Web Design

PHSCON is Australia’s leading psychosocial safety conference, bringing together global experts, practitioners, and industry leaders. After establishing the refreshed PHSCON 2025 brand, I was responsible for designing and building a fully responsive event website that communicated the scale, credibility, and energy of the conference. The site needed to deliver a premium first impression, provide intuitive navigation for a content-heavy event, and support clear pathways to ticket purchase and session discovery.

Problem

The previous PHSCON website struggled to support the rapidly growing scale of the conference. As speaker numbers, sessions, and content expanded, the site lacked the structure and hierarchy needed to present information clearly. Important details were difficult to find, theme categories weren’t communicated visually, and the mobile experience felt fragmented. Overall, the design and UX didn’t reflect the premium, high-credibility event PHSCON had become — creating confusion for attendees and underselling the value of the conference.

Solution

I redesigned the PHSCON website from the ground up, creating a scalable layout system built for content-heavy events. A dark, high-contrast UI paired with the refreshed brand colours gives the conference a bold, premium presence, while clear hierarchy and colour-coded themes make the agenda and speakers easy to navigate. I streamlined the ticket-purchase flow, built a fully responsive mobile experience, and designed an integrated “My Account” area for tickets, resources, and past content — resulting in a polished, intuitive experience that elevates the event and supports future yearly iterations.
