Miami Bakehouse — one of WA’s most awarded bakeries — needed a digital menu and promotional display that could present their extensive pie range while making room for seasonal promotions and featured products. The challenge was creating a layout that could showcase a large volume of menu items without feeling cluttered, while still expressing Miami’s established brand personality.
As part of the Amped Digital creative team, I designed and animated a three-screen menu board system used across multiple Miami Bakehouse locations. I incorporated existing brand elements (fonts, colour palette, illustration style) to ensure visual consistency, while introducing subtle motion, promotional callouts, and rotating featured items to guide customer attention. The layout was designed as a modular system, allowing the marketing team to update product highlights and seasonal offerings without redesigning the full menu.
The animated menus improved product visibility, highlighted new and premium flavours, and supported upsell opportunities through strategic motion and social proofing (customer quotes, featured “pie of the week”). The modular structure enabled faster content updates for ongoing promotions, improving customer engagement and in-store branding.
