This university assignment required the development of a branding package for a hypothetical boutique book store located on Newcastle Street, Leederville. The challenge was to create a brand identity that seamlessly blended traditional and contemporary elements.
I embarked on an extensive design development process to craft a brand identity for Spencer & Hawke. Leveraging typefaces such as Garamond and Baskerville, known for their association with traditional book design, I hand-crafted a logo that would evoke the nostalgic feeling of enjoying an old book in a cozy coffee shop.
The branding package included logo design, business cards, signage, and packaging, all designed to convey the desired warm, established yet trendy atmosphere.
